About The Event
We paddle between two of Governor Macquarie’s most historic towns, planned in 1810-11 and containing fine examples of Victorian architecture and grand parklands. Starting from the big sandy beach at Macquarie Park, we pass steep sandstone cliffs and riverbanks stabilised by the planting of many thousands of trees.
