About The Event
We've never been able to paddle beautiful South Creek because of all the dead tree trunks and branches. Now some enterprising locals have cleaned the place up - so away we go, right up to the weir! We'll make our way into the Western Basin (home to over 100 Black Swan), up South Creek, then to Middle and Deep Creeks. Deep Creek is home to migratory birds from as far away as Russia and you'll see a very strange relic from the Second World War. Experience the exotic wildlife – maybe a fish will jump in your boat. Hear about the Aboriginal history and what's being done to protect the remaining bushland. Led by former president of Friends of Narrabeen Lagoon Catchment Tony Carr.
Kayak hire $88pp. Easy - no previous paddling experience necessary. Tuition given.
