Here's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to really get to know Australia's most spectacular river system. All the history, the personalities and the stories come to life as you cruise from Sackville to Windsor on the first of 5 paddles we'll do over summer. From tiny Sackville we'll paddle with the tide via scribbly gum and tall bloodwoods to Cattai National Park for lunch, then through scenic twists and turns until the river opens out and the old Macquarie town of Windsor appears before us. One way paddle. Car shuttle organised. Led by Duncan Johnstone, who has been involved in many Freedom Outdoors paddles over the years and is famous for his Hawkesbury familiarisations.
